League Regatta’s

Less than £200/head is amazing value for 10 weeks boost to morale and networking. If you have a need to bond local or distant teams you will find the value from this format amazing.

Our team have substantial experience of major regattas in the Mediterranean which mixes the good spirit of competing against colleagues and having bucket loads of fun at the same time. While keeping the Mediterranean option open, we have drawn on this experience to design a format for the Solent area that will keep all our guests talking for weeks afterwards.

The Aim: Inspire Yachting have developed a unique league regatta format for our clients aimed at providing sustained team building and communication improvements. This format is especially effective where clients have multiple offices or distant teams where they feel they wish to improve collaboration and communication.

The Format: Inspire Yachting would organise a series of single day racing events where each client office or team would race against each other at least once in the series. The series would take place over a number of weeks, typically 10, where after each event, photos, league scores and anecdotes are updated on our website. There is also a chat forum that each team has access to to stimulate further cross team communication and networking.

We can provide a matched fleet of up to 5 Elan 410’s for this event, however typically we would see two yachts competing in the Solent on any single day.

The Benefits: Our clients recognise this event as extremely cost effective. For instance a 5 office regatta represents 10 single day events for 2 yachts over a 10 week period. This format could cycle 200 employees/guests (40 per office) through the event as each office would have 4 competing days in the series. The key thing here is that as well as each employee/guest competing on at least one day, they also follow the events as they proceed through the league. Our clients benefit from over 10 weeks team building and raised inter-company networking, so you can see why this is viewed as extremely cost effective when the costs typically work out at less than £200/employee or guest.
