RORC Morgan Cup Race

A Friday evening start to this race. The race course set by other yacht clubs to Cherbourg is usually 70 miles but the RORC manage to extend this to a gruelling 160 miles. The race committee has a choice of 4 courses and will set one 10 minutes before the start of the race, giving their navigators a headache before the start gun has gone.

Where the race starts Friday evening we will be straight into night sailing so we advise that all the crew have sailed on the boat prior to this event.

This race is also a Fastnet qualifier, so if you are doing the Fastnet Campaign with us then you will already be onboard. If not, you should think about signing up for the Fastnet.
